Mind Health, LLC
“Your pathway to health and happiness emerges through nurturing body, mind, and spirit. As a licensed psychologist, I work with adult clients as they move toward healing from a variety of mental health and life concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorder, childhood/family of origin related concerns, relationship challenges, self esteem issues, life transitions, and multicultural dilemmas.
In a therapeutic environment of respect and dignity for my clients, I draw upon my clinical experiences in the mental health field as well as my knowledge of research-supported treatments to help individuals achieve the healing and life changes they seek.
I have worked in the United States and abroad and am experienced in helping clients with multicultural concerns. With a history of employment for a number of years at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, I am knowledgeable about 12 Step recovery, and more specifically, about working with healthcare professionals and their families seeking recovery from and understanding addiction. My strong interest in medical and mental health dates back to my nearly 30-year career in nursing. My integrative approach includes utilization of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, trauma process therapy, mindfulness training, and incorporation of spirituality in the context of individual and group psychotherapy.”
